ITCB undertakes regular updating of import trends in textiles and clothing in major developed country markets. The tables below present the evolution of these imports.

LONG TERM EVOLUTION OF TEXTILES AND CLOTHING TRADE

The tables below show the progression of imports in the United States and the European Union (EU-27), both in terms of value and volume. In addition to figures for textiles and clothing combined, two separate tables show the situation with respect to clothing and textiles separately.

In the section “Other periods” (below) data for the European Union is in respect of 25 or 15 member states of the European Union.
